| Summary | 0004020: BMP and BMD crew can be killed by small arms incl. sidearms |
| Description | This is a bit of a weird one, and if it didn't involve a pistol rather than a rifle, I'd probably think it wasn't a bug but a feature. If a player crawls under a BMP or BMD and fires upwards into the belly with their weapon, they can kill the crew inside.
We discovered this on 345 SGVAR's server when one player crawled under a disabled, but still crewed, BMP and shot into its belly with the RHS PM. It killed the driver and allowed us to steal the vehicle. I reproduced this personally a few weeks later, again on the same server, but with a BMD. |
| Steps To Reproduce | Crawl under vehicle with small arm, fire upwards into belly at approximate position of crew members. |
| Additional Information | I'm operating off of the assumption here that the BMP's belly plate (never mind seats, internal fixtures, etc.) should be sufficient to protect the crew from 9x18mm. |
