0003865: ZSU-23-4V freezes at waypoints
The ZSU-23-4V will only follow waypoints for a little while before it will eventually freeze upon reaching one. Usually this occurs only after a handful of waypoint.

I tested this on Stratus, Malden 2035 and CUP CWC Kolgujev and at various locations on each of the three islands. It is definitely the ZSU, I tried other vehicles both RHS and Vanilla on the same waypoint paths and they would never get stuck.
Place a ZSU-23-4V on a road in the editor. Give it two move waypoints also on the road behavior set to safe and place a third cycle waypoint. Spectate in single player in eden. Eventually the ZSU will stop following it's waypoints and never move again.
I noticed when viewing in time compression on some of my test there's a slight side to side wiggling in the chassis when ever the ZSU stops at a waypoint. Could this be a possible physX problem?

I tried right clicking on the vehicle in eden and going to object and changing it to a RHS BMP-2 and also a vanilla BTR-K and then had it run the exact same waypoint path, it would never freeze up in those vehicles.

can you provide some sample mission? PhysX for all vehicles was changed so I'm wondering if it's still an issue. Make sure also you are running game without any other mods

I've now attached a zip with an example mission on Stratis.

In the example the ZSU will make a few cycles of it's waypoint route and then eventually freeze and no longer move anymore. Occasionally it'll only move one or two waypoints before freezing.

AFRF is the only addon loaded.

hm, tried that mission and zsu eventually got unstucked after 30s. Is it same for you? In our work build, PhysX configs of all vehicles were recently changed so I'm wondering if it's unstucking because of that.

I've never had it get unstuck. Did you run it multiple times? For me it tends to get stuck randomly almost always at the way points but occasionally it'll get stuck somewhere between them as well.

The update seems to have solved the issue!

I loaded up my mission that I first noticed the problem in, I ran it for a 35 minutes and the ZSU was still following its way point loop when I came back.

Tested on another island by placing a fresh ZSU-23-4 and giving it a looping set of way points and it to followed it's loop with no trouble for 10 laps. If it was going to get paralyzed it would have done it way before lap 10.

I think we can officially consider this ticket closed.
