0003487: Tracer ammo need more visibility.
IMO the tracer effect used for tracer magazines are way too thin and dark. we can hardly see anything.

there is lot more videos available out there showing that tracer ammo are much more visible than what we currently have ingame.
spawn with a rifle and tracer mag (ak/ar15/sniper). then see how hard is it to spot these tracers.

I think that there was issue that scaling tracer up caused ultra large night tracers during night. Maybe rvmats could be tweaked to be more visible but changing size is not an option

the current tracer is obviously too thin and would really need an increased "fireball effect". above all when viewed from 1st view.

tracer seen through NVG goggles are naturally huge, that's not a mistake.

thickness, density and glowing rate. tracer trajectory must be spotted immediately even when hip shooting.

i don't know if i'm the only one to have difficulty to spot my own tracers in day time. i really need to focus to spot it. it's kinda frustrating sometimes.

They are huge without nvg - that's the main issue. I think some things were changed in Arma 2 to arma 3

I tested RHS in pair with 'Blastcore tracer A3' : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=647768227 [^]

the result is : the tracer thickness is not important, both versions get approximately the same size, the true difference is the brightness level.

if the RHS tracer mags could use a similar value by default it would be great. since lot of servers using RHS doesn't necessarily allow blastcore.
