0000219: RPG gunners reloading in less than 2 seconds
RPG gunners are able to reload and fire in less than 2 seconds.

It should be adjusted to a minimum of 14 seconds, but closer to around 20 seconds to be more realistic.

From the manual http://www.nastavleniya.ru/RPG/rpg11.htm [^] : missiles prepared by gunner or assistant on position. Not used missiles disassemble for transporting.

Reloading prepared missile as solder is fast. Prepair and load missile as in the book for learner is slowly.


PS. How long tank commander can reload mashingun magazines for more reality? 2-5 minuts?

The issue is the RPG gunner shoots, reloads, and shoots again in less than 2 seconds, becoming basically a fully automatic RPG.

I didnt noticed 2 seconds (maybe for AI), Its about to gunner how long reload does take. If you have prepared RPG round (as it is in mod) reloading 14 seconds is ridiculus. Its just put grenade in barrel, thats all. 5 seconds MAX! Take in account this is battlefield, not excersises and adrenaline works on soldiers too, its very motivating

14 seconds is NOT ridiculous for a single man to load an RPG unassisted. 2-3 seconds easily to grab the rocket from his pack..another 2-5 to actually get it loaded under duress and then you have to remount the weapon on your shoulder and get back on target. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrC-PCvrXpE#t=2410 [^] Refernce this video to see what JJameson3 is talking about. The RPG soldier to left gets off 3 rockets in under 7 seconds.....

3 rockets is 2 reloads and 0 reaiming. In Arma 3 no need to reaiming after reload. In Arma3 we can get all inventory from the backpack at a one second. This applies to all weapons.

I know that... my point is that its far from reality....you are living in another reality if you think that 3 rpgs in 7 seconds from the same gunner is feasible. I'm not saying it needs to be 14 seconds, but the reload time needs to be increased in my opinion.

as temporary solution, I slowed down reload anim so it last about 5.4s. It looks kind slow mo but till we get some new anims, it's going to stay that way.
