Summary 0004909: 3d scopes zoom inconsistency.
Revision 2019-03-20 01:03 by 7ftnick
Description If you use 3d scopes like the SU230, or 1P29, when aiming down sides and holding the right mouse button, you will get some degree of "additional zoom" (AZ) further in the text.
This AZ is inconsistent in different scopes e.g:
- PSO-1M2 zoom 4x has no AZ (Just like all vanilla 4x scopes).
- An/PVQ-31A zoom 4x has quite considerable AZ (in default zoom reticle marks are unreadable).
- 1P29 has little AZ (reticle is huge and readable at any zoom).
- M145 MGO little AZ helps read the markings, but no other advantage.
- SU230 same as M145 MGO
- G33 magnifier zoom 3x has no AZ

So basically this AZ has no obvious benefit and it frustrates the finger that has to hold down Right Mouse Button.
Perhaps it is possible to remove this AZ all together, and look through 3d scopes at the level that allows for reticle marks to be readable ?
